Tucson Travels

Most of the trees that you have seen at Early Forest thus far have been photographed in the Midwest and South-East regions of the United States, my home territory. It is not uncommon for me to travel outside of that bubble, and when I do I hunt down trees to photograph.

My most recent travels took me to Tucson, Arizona. Tucson offers an especially harsh and arid environment where trees have adapted to the desert in differing ways. It is common to see trees that throw out thorns all directions and yield tiny leaves that minimize surface area. Expect to see photographs of these trees in the near future as I sort and catalog them for your use.
